Yes, I know it's a bit premature. This year's season has just ended.

But I thought we might need a thread in the mean time for all the transfer gossip and managerial changes etc.

The main story being LVG leaving Man Utd - and Mourinho tipped as his successor?

Koeman or De Boer to Everton?

Thoughts on the young goalkeeper, Loris Karius, signing for Liverpool?

But yeah, you get the idea. Any football related thoughts for next season - just spill them here.

Boy, did I really drop the ball on that Euro 2016 thread. We should have had an Olympics thread, too... ANYWAYS (congrats Chile, Por-EWWWW-tugal, Germany women's team, and Brazil's Olympic team)...

And boy, did Arsenal really drop the ball during this last transfer window. Well, actually, that remains to be seen. I think Mustafi is an excellent signing, considering how Per's been getting on in years and in other departments. The others? Time will tell. Don't think Arsenal have much of a chance to even get top two this year. I'm no #WengerOut firebrand by any means, as I must admit I understand his hesitancy to splash so much cash in the transfer market (no way is Higuain worth that much as a player, and this is not considering the amount of time he might need to adjust to new league and how predictably he chokes in a big game).

In a nutshell: City to win it, Arsenal to get 4th and not in an easy way, Leicester to make Europa League. COYG

City looks too good right now, but was happy with United's fight in the 2nd half. I think United finishes 3rd behind Chelsea and City but we'll see. The season is young

What did you say about City looking untouchable Ulti? They got exposed against the Spuds!

First time posting here since Bob Bradley's appointment for Swansea City. First American head coach of a club in a major European league, and it's simultaneously inspiring and frightening for me. Here's a guy I've never met, who I admire for how he conducted himself with the United States, Egypt (he managed Egypt during the Revolution and the suspension of the Egyptian Premier League!), Stabaek, and Le Havre, and who I hope succeeds despite a lot of people wanting to see him fail.

Problem is, Bradley's got Arsenal first. Conflicted feelings!

Oh, and Arsenal don't look so bad themselves. Curse of the last poster?

To be fair, until the point I'd posted, Man City really had looked unbeatable. But I guess you can always speak too soon. Spurs (somehow) outplayed them, which was a shock to me, as I'm sure it was to many others. I think we're in for a rollercoaster season.

Loving that 11 point gap lol. Maybe they'll make top 4, who knows. Or maybe they'll have to win the Europa league to get Champions League next year.

Went to the Palace-Sunderland game Sunday. Utterly embarrassing performance from Palace. Thought they'd be at least a bit better since Allardyce has come in but just shows how badly Pardew managed to mess everything up. 3 goals in 3 minutes. Shocking.

At this stage of the season, I really can't see Chelsea slipping up now, especially since Conte is well used to having big point leads with Juventus.

Personally, this Gooner is looking forward to the new LA Galaxy season right now (I live in a suburb of LA.. so essentially, they're my local team). MLS starts in two weekends, and I get this funny feeling that after losing Robbie Keane, Steven Gerrard, and a boatload of supporting players over the last two seasons - MLS has a salary cap (similar to NBA and NFL; the league itself is too financially weak to have a laissez faire transfer environment and I don't think it ever should emulate Europe in that respect... hell, I'm also of the opinion that America will and should never have promotion/relegation because this country is too big to have all the teams in the Northeast or the West Coast in a second division) - so I get the feeling it will be rebuilding time for the Galaxy as well.

But this is a Premier League thread.

Even after the yearly embarrassment that is my adopted English club collapsing after Christmas, I get this funny feeling that, given the players that we have, this is as good as it's ever gonna get. Managerially, Wenger has far too many responsibilities with the club. They need a director of football, and need to shed Wenger of some of his non-managerial responsibilities (which includes directing scouting in all but name for chrissakes). The uncertainty with Ozil (who says his time with Arsenal is tied to Wenger's presence) and Sanchez needs to be taken care of sooner rather than later - and that means positive results from now until May.

ArsenalfanTV can be funny, but it can be hideously negative and unnecessarily morale-devastating. And even I know what Piers freaking Morgan thinks about what's going on, and I'm an ocean and a continent away! The loudest voices don't speak for all. Just because you are able to attend every match or every other match doesn't make you more or less a fan than others.

That said, c'mon the Galaxy!
